Notes for HANNAH KUNKLE: Mrs. Hannah Munshower Mrs. Hannah Munshower, widow of the late William Munshower, died at the home of her son, Harrison Munshower, Center Township, on last Sunday afternoon at 1. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon when the interment was made in Kunkle's graveyard, Center Township. Deceased was one of the oldest ladies in the county, she being between 96 and 97. She has lived in this county all of her life and for about 72 years her home has been on the farm where she died. With her husband she took up her residence there when the county, and in fact nearly all of what now comprises the county, was a dense wilderness. As was the lot of the pioneer women of those days, Mrs. Munshower helped clear the land, till the soil and labor equally with the men of her community. Her husband has been dead many years, but she is survived by six children, as follows: John, of Clarion, Mrs. Mary Yingling, of St. Mary, Ohio, William, of Cookport; Samuel, of Indiana; Huston, of Blairsville and Harrison, of Center Township. For many years she was a member of the Lutheran church, and during the days of her activity she was a tireless worker in its interest. Rev J. W.
